Exciting scientific journey during the OCAILab summer retreat held in Cartagena, thanks to our Río Hortega fellow, Antonio Asensi, funded by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III.
The @cafelaboficial in Cartagena was the venue for the latest OCAILab LabMeeting, where significant progress was presented on the Inflanemia and Nanemiar research projects—two strategic lines focused on understanding inflammation and anemia from both molecular and clinical perspectives.
These regular meetings reinforce OCAILab as a dynamic space for knowledge generation. On this occasion, we had the valuable participation of Dr. María Ángeles Núñez, whose presence fostered a rich interdisciplinary dialogue. Her insights encouraged the exchange of ideas, inspired new collaborations, and strengthened scientific networks both within and beyond the lab.
