Successful PhD Defense on the Role of NADPH Oxidase in Tissue Damage Associated with Hemoprotein Accumulation

It was a pleasure to attend the PhD defense titled "Role of NADPH Oxidase in Tissue Damage Associated with Hemoprotein Accumulation", presented by Cristina García Caballero, as part of the PhD Program in Biomedicine at the University of Córdoba.

This highly relevant research in the biomedical field was supervised by Dr. Juan Antonio Moreno Gutiérrez and Dr. José Manuel Villalba, who have guided the candidate throughout her scientific journey with their expertise and mentorship.

The examination committee was composed of esteemed professionals, including Dr. Pérez-Oliva, who served alongside Dr. Nerea Méndez Barbero from the Fundación Jiménez Díaz in Madrid, and Dr. Antonio Jesús Martínez Fuentes from the University of Córdoba. All members praised the scientific quality of the work, as well as the clarity and strength of the candidate’s presentation.
