We have had the pleasure of celebrating the mentoring programme for young women researchers ‘WOMEN CAN! If you want to, you can’, an inspiring initiative organised thanks to the Fundación para la Formación e Investigación Sanitaria. The aim of this new programme is to raise awareness of the role of women in biomedical research and to motivate future generations to follow in their footsteps in the world of science.

The event, which took place in the Assembly Hall of the PUVA at the Virgen de la Arrixaca University Hospital, was attended by Dr. Ana Belén Pérez Oliva and Dr. Mª Ángeles Núñez, as well as a round table in which great women scientists from the Region of Murcia shared their experience and career.
